Oslo and Berlin based duo Neck Breaking Stunts release "Sunken City w/ Lydmor", the first single off their new EP, teaming up with Danish musician multi-artist Lydmor!

Neck Breaking Stunts is the manifestation of creative friendship producer Antonio de Spirt aka La Boum Fatale and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Einar Stray. Originally meant as an open space for exchanging ideas and challenging each other's creativity, the duo grew into being it's own serious project with the release of their new "Sunken City EP" ahead of us in early 2024.

“'Sunken City' is about being haunted by past mistakes, longing to shake away the bad feelings, and finally embracing therapy." explains singer Einar Stray. The song was written when Stray was in the middle of a dark place. "It was a perfect opportunity for me to put my mental breakdown that was happening into words."

"'Sunken City' is one of the most important for me", adds producer Antonio de Spirt. "It was done really quickly and it was great fun. It’s also the song which defined the sonic and stylistic direction of the whole EP. Having our friend Lydmor on that track is the cherry on top of course!"

With Neck Breaking Stunts, de Spirt aka La Boum Fatale and Stray treat themselves to the luxury of a nonchalant experiment. And the collaboration is as interesting as expectably good. The two have known each other for a long time via mutual friends and their releases on Sinnbus, and always wanted to make music together. Neck Breaking Stunts will finally release more new music this fall!
